I think the world of knowledge work will be unrecognizable in 5 years, but maybe closer to 2 or 3.
I'm not an optimist in this regard. It does not make me a popular dinner guest. It's going to leave a lot of people currently clicking and typing for their paychecks without anywhere to go. If you can explain the process of what you do: the logic, the pointing and clicking, the research behind how you make decisions, you have limited time to adapt your career and your skill set.
