AI & Automation Cohort
Forget consultants. Insource your automation strategy by upskilling your teams in one quarter.
A hands-on program where your people build real automations with tracked ROI. No technical background required. Production-ready results. An internal capability that compounds forever.
Real automations. Real ROI. Real capability.
This isn't a lecture series. Every participant builds and deploys at least one production-ready automation with measurable ROI by the end of the quarter.
For your business
- 1–3 live automations per participant in production
- Documented ROI report for leadership
- Internal AI playbook and governance policy
- Prioritized backlog of future automation opportunities
- Team trained to identify and build future automations independently
For your team members
- Hands-on experience building real AI agents and automations
- Understanding of the full automation lifecycle
- Confidence to evaluate AI tools and vendors
- Access to the CAIO Portal throughout and after the cohort
- A portfolio of automations they built, complete with proof of impact
Sound like you or someone on your team?
The cohort is built for business professionals across functions, not just the tech team.
The Operations Leader
You're drowning in manual work that shouldn't require humans. You know automation is the answer but don't know where to start, and you don't have a technical team to hand it off to.
What you'll walk away with:
- Map and eliminate your top 3 time-wasting workflows
- Build automations that run 24/7 without you
- Quantify the ROI and present it to leadership
The HR & Training Lead
You're responsible for preparing your workforce for the AI era and you need a structured, proven program, not another vendor pitch. You want your people confident, not anxious.
What you'll walk away with:
- Run a structured upskilling program with clear deliverables
- Get every participant to build something real
- Create lasting AI confidence across teams
The Forward-Thinking Executive
You see AI as a strategic differentiator, not a cost-cutting exercise. You want to build internal capability, not dependency on consultants. And you need to show the board ROI.
What you'll walk away with:
- Build a culture of AI-reflexive operators
- Own your AI strategy internally, not outsourced
- Present documented, compelling ROI to leadership

FAQ
Does this require a technical background?
No. The cohort is designed for business professionals, not engineers. If you know how to use email, a CRM, or a spreadsheet, you can build automations in this program. We've had participants from HR, finance, marketing, operations, and executive leadership, none with a technical background.
What's the time commitment?
Plan for 2–4 hours per week, including live sessions, async work in the CAIO Portal, and building your automations. Most participants say it's the most productive 2–4 hours of their week because they're building something real.
What tools do we use? Do I need to buy new software?
We meet you where you are. The cohort is tool-agnostic: we help you build automations using the tools you already pay for (Zapier, Make, HubSpot, Notion, Slack, etc.). In some cases, we'll recommend specific free or low-cost tools. You won't need to buy a new platform.
How many people can participate from our company?
Cohorts are typically run for teams of 4–12 people from your organization. We also run shared cohorts where individual contributors join alongside peers from other companies, great for teams of 1–3 who want the full experience.
What kind of automations do people actually build?
Real ones. Recent examples: lead intake and CRM routing, invoice approval workflows, automated weekly reports, email triage systems, content review pipelines, customer onboarding flows, HR document processors, and meeting summarization workflows. The automation you build is scoped to your actual job and actual tools.
What if we don't have a clear use case going in?
That's exactly what Month 1 is for. Foundation & Discovery helps you map your current processes, identify inefficiencies, and prioritize the highest-impact automation opportunities. Most teams discover 5–10 opportunities they hadn't considered before.
Can we join as a company without running a full internal cohort?
Yes. We run shared cohorts where individuals from different organizations participate together. This is ideal for small teams or companies who want to run a lower-overhead program. Contact us to discuss what format works best for your team.
What happens after the cohort ends?
You keep access to the CAIO Portal. Your team has the knowledge, automations, and internal playbook to keep building independently. For organizations that want ongoing executive AI leadership, we offer a Fractional CAIO engagement to sustain momentum.
