Getting Started

From application to first cohort

Apply and intro call

Submit a brief application and we will schedule a 30-minute call to learn about your practice, your client base, and whether the program is a strong fit.

Partner agreement and onboarding

Review and sign the partner agreement. Begin the 3-week certification program, which includes curriculum review, facilitation practice, and two live sessions with the Civic Dialog team.

Identify your first cohort client

With certification complete, identify the right client from your existing base for your first cohort. We will support you through the discovery and scoping conversation.

Deliver your first cohort

Run your first 12-week cohort with direct support from the Civic Dialog team. We are available for every session if needed, or as on-call backup. Your second cohort will be entirely self-sufficient.

Common questions

Do I need to be an AI expert to deliver this?

No. The partner certification program is designed for experienced IT service providers, not AI researchers. You need to understand the business value of AI and be comfortable facilitating structured client conversations. The curriculum, resources, and escalation support fill in the rest.

Can I white-label the program?

Yes, with guidelines. Partners deliver the program under their own brand in all client-facing materials. Co-branding with Civic Dialog is available and encouraged for sales and credibility purposes. The underlying curriculum and portal remain Civic Dialog-powered.

What happens when my client asks a question I cannot answer?

That is what the escalation path is for. Partners have direct access to the Civic Dialog team for technical or strategic questions that fall outside their expertise. We will not leave you stranded in front of a client.

How long does the partner certification take?

The certification program is structured as a 3-week self-paced program with two live sessions. Most partners complete it in 2 to 3 weeks alongside their existing workload.

Can I run cohorts for clients in any industry?

The cohort framework is designed to be industry-agnostic. The curriculum and governance templates have been applied across professional services, healthcare administration, nonprofit, manufacturing, and distribution. Industry-specific context comes from your expertise and your client relationship.

What is the minimum commitment?

Partners commit to the annual license and delivery of at least 2 cohorts per year. This ensures partners invest in the certification and use it enough to deliver it well.
